Rehab training does not have to be boring - train together with others! Our Functional Fitness groups use fun, creative and challenging exercises that help to re-build strength and stability following an injury, as well as build a strong foundation in order to  prevent new injuries from occurring!

Functional Fitness: Lower Body - This class is designed for clients who wish to strengthen their lower bodies, optimize training & sports performance, and to prevent injuries. Focus is placed upon strengthening and stabilizing the ankle, knee, hip and core using dynamic exercise. Appropriate for anyone who wishes to improve their overall strength, balance, and endurance, as well as for those who would like to develop their abilities in running, jumping, directional changes, etc. Each class incorporates a mix of cardio, stretching, and strengthening exercises  
                                                                         for a comprehensive approach to your fitness and therapy.
 Suitable for all ages  
                                                                         and levels of exercise.

Functional Fitness: Upper Body - This class is designed to strengthen your upper body as well as to tone the muscles of the chest, back, arms and shoulders. Particular focus is placed upon improving mobility, function and stability of the core and upper body, thereby helping to prevent / heal injury. Each class incorporates a mix of cardio, stretching and strengthening exercises. Suitable for all ages and levels of exercise.  Instructor: David Huynh.

Functional Fitness: Core - Forget everthing you knew about traditional circuit training! You will definitely feel the burn in this cutting-edge circuit training class, which is designed to strengthen the abdominal muscles, increase athletic performance, and help to prevent low back pain. Smaller classes allow us to provide each participant with skilled, individualized attention based on his/her own strengths and weaknesses. Each class incorporates a mix of cardio, stretching, and strengthening exercises for a comprehensive workout.

Functional Mobility - There is far more to mobility training than just stretching and foam-rolling. It requires strength and neurological control of joints as well as surrounding muscles. In this course, you will learn to expand, control and maintain mobility through the use of isometric strengthening and slow, controlled movements. This ground-breaking form of exercise combines passive flexibility with active mobility, which in turn helps to reduce pain and to decrease risk of injury. This class is suitable for anyone looking to bulletproof
                                                                          their joints to be resilient and healthy for sports, fitness, and everyday
                                                                          movement. This is not a passive stretching class - get ready to work!

Functional Spine: Pilates for Back Pain - This group is suitable for those who are beginners, or who have a history of low back pain/neck problems. Much focus is placed upon correct core activation, proper technique and breathing strategies, while at the same time strengthening the deep stabilizing muscles of the neck and spine.  Instructor: Beate Vaula.

Rise & Grind - Get ready to kick-start your day! This class offers a heart-pumping combo of cardio and high-intensity strengthening exercises, guaranteed to wake up your brain, get your blood flowing, and prepare you for whatever the day has in store for you!  Instructor: David Huynh.

Sports Conditioning - A high intensity class that merges sports training with traditional strength & fitness! Taught by a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, this class combines intervals of plyometrics, speed, and agility with functional strength and mobility. Specific focus is placed upon technical execution & injury prevention. Perfect for athletes, dancers or those looking to take their training to another level!  Instructor: David Huynh.
